Jump ‘N Glow

If you’ve got pre-teen kids who are bouncing off the walls, there’s just one place to go – Bounce! Trampoline Sports, where you can bounce in just about every way imaginable. And the best time to go these days is on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 8pm, when they add black lights to create a one-of-a-kind black-lit laser show that adds a new dimension to the fun.

Trampolining has grown a lot since you were a kid, although there are still only a few locations like the one in Syosset (Bounce! was New York’s first trampoline park and is currently in Rockland County and Poughkeepsie as well.) It’s every kids’ fantasy, with multiple jumping courts of varying size, separate slam dunk basketball courts, adult and children’s foam pits, one of a kind giant inflatables, as well as the only indoor trampoline bungee jump in America. Even the walls are trampolines. (NOTE: They do everything possible to make the activity safe – limiting the number of jumpers and foam covering areas between trampolines, but you still have to sign a waiver.)

If this seems like fun, it gets even better during Jump 'N Glow. A live DJ sets the tone for a laser/black light show that transforms Bounce! into a glow-in-the-dark, laser pulsating extravaganza. Bouncers aged 8 years to adult can “dress to glow” in black-light sensitive clothing from tops to socks to hats and gloves while participating in such fun activities as Trampoline Dodgeball, rope swings and more.

To participate, sign up online – $22 for a full hour or $27 for 90 minutes – at
